§1 🏆 The Stakes & Dues
- 1.1 — $250 buy-in. 1st: $1,500, a name plate on the league trophy, and the ring. 2nd: $750. 3rd: $250.
- 1.2 — Dues are due before keepers lock (2026: Mon Aug 31, 5:00 PM CT). Pay by Zelle, Venmo or PayPal — QR codes on the What We Play For tab. Include your team name.
- 1.3 — 10th place receives the golden plunger plus a punishment decided by the rest of the league, and must display the toilet bowl trophy in their office / Teams background all year.
§2 📋 Rosters & Waivers
- 2.1 — Start: 1 QB, 2 RB, 3 WR, 1 TE, 2 FLEX, 1 SUPERFLEX. Bench: 6. IR: 2.
- 2.2 — Full PPR with big-play bonuses — complete table in §3.

§3 📊 Scoring (from the league’s Sleeper settings — tap to expand)
| Play | Points |
| Passing | Passing yards | 0.04 / yd (1 per 25) |
| Passing TD | 4 |
| Interception thrown | −1 |
| 2-pt conversion (pass) | 2 |
| 40+ yard completion | +1 |
| Rushing | Rushing yards | 0.1 / yd |
| Rushing TD | 6 |
| 2-pt conversion (rush) | 2 |
| 40+ yard rush | +2 |
| Receiving | Reception | 1 (full PPR) |
| Receiving yards | 0.1 / yd |
| Receiving TD | 6 |
| 2-pt conversion (catch) | 2 |
| 40+ yard reception | +2 |
| TD bonuses | 40+ yard passing TD | +1 |
| 40+ yard rushing TD | +1 |
| 40+ yard receiving TD | +1 |
| Turnovers & misc | Fumble lost | −2 |
| Fumble recovered for TD | 6 |
| Special-teams TD (any player) | 6 |
Bonuses stack: a 45-yard receiving TD = 4.5 yd pts + 6 TD + 2 big-catch bonus + 1 long-TD bonus = 13.5. No kickers or defenses are rostered in this league, so K/DST scoring never applies. Pulled directly from Sleeper league settings. Sleeper is authoritative — if this table ever disagrees with it, the page is stale; tell the commissioner.
§4 🔑 Keepers — The Basics
- 4.1 — Keep up to 3 — optional. You can keep none.
- 4.2 — 3-year contract, regardless of owner. The contract follows the player through trades — trading for a keeper does not reset his clock.
- 4.3 — Year 0 is the season you drafted him (not a keeper year). Then:
| What he costs | Example: drafted R6 in 2025 |
| Year 1 | the round you drafted him in | 2026 = R6 |
| Year 2 | that round + 1 | 2027 = R7 |
| Year 3 | that round + 2 · final year | 2028 = R8 |
- “+1” means the round number goes up — a Round 7 keeper becomes a Round 8 keeper. settled by league vote 6–3, Aug 11, 2026 (§8.1)
- 4.4 — Cost never passes Round 16. Once at R16 he stays R16 for the rest of the contract.
- 4.5 — Waiver / free-agent pickup = Round 16, starting a fresh Year-1 contract.
- 4.6 — Declare any time up to one week before the draft (the concrete date each year is Sleeper’s keeper deadline — 2026: Mon Aug 31, 5:00 PM CT). Once declared you cannot undeclare.
§5 🧩 Keepers — Edge Cases (tap to expand)
- 5.1 — Same-round collisions: if two of your keepers land on the same round, one takes that round and the other moves to your next earlier open round — you pick which. Two R5 keepers = R5 and R4. Three FA keepers = R16, R15, R14. Collisions always resolve toward earlier (more valuable) picks so stacking keepers is never a discount.
- 5.2 — Unowned rounds: if you do not own a pick in the round a keeper costs (traded away, or consumed by another keeper), the cost moves to your next earlier round you do own.
- 5.3 — Bumps are one-year: a collision bump applies to that draft only. Next season the player’s cost is figured from his own contract track, not the bumped round.
- 5.4 — The Round 1 wall: two keepers both costing Round 1 cannot both be kept — choose one.
- 5.5 — Multiple picks in one round: if a trade gave you two picks in the cost round, you choose which one the keeper consumes.
- 5.6 — Dropping a declared keeper forfeits the declaration. That slot cannot be refilled, and you cannot re-declare that player this season — even if you re-claim him. This closes the “drop an expensive keeper, re-claim him at R16” loophole.
- 5.7 — Dropping and re-claiming a player you never declared resets him to R16 with a fresh contract (§4.5). This is currently legal — whether it should be is an open question (§9). open question
- 5.8 — Trades cannot put a team over 3 declared keepers. A trade for a declared keeper transfers the declaration and cost to the new owner; if the new owner already holds 3 declarations, the trade is invalid.
§6 ⇄ Trading
- 6.1 — Future draft picks may be traded, next season’s draft only.
- 6.2 — You cannot trade for any pick in Rounds 1–3. Round 4 and later are tradeable.
- 6.3 — A team may trade away no more than 2 future picks per season, and every trade must have the same number of picks on each side. wording flagged — §9
- 6.4 — All trading (players or picks) halts Week 10.
§7 🏁 Season & Draft
- 7.1 — Playoffs start Week 15; 6 teams qualify.
- 7.2 — The consolation round counts toward draft order. see §9
- 7.3 — Draft lottery for the four teams that missed the playoffs — picks 1–4. Picks 5–10 go to playoff teams by finish, worst to first.
- 7.4 — 2026: keepers lock Mon Aug 31, 5:00 PM CT · draft Mon Sep 7, 5:00 PM CT.
§8 ⚖️ How Rules Change
- 8.1 — Rule changes are put to a league vote in chat or by poll; a majority of managers (6 of 10) carries.
- 8.2 — Changes take effect the following season unless the league votes otherwise, and are logged in the changelog.
- 8.3 — New rules are always appended with new numbers (§5.9, §6.5…) — existing numbers never change, so citations stay valid.
§9 ❓ Open Questions (flagged, not yet decided — tap to expand)
These are ambiguities or unwritten assumptions found in review. None is currently a rule. Each needs a league decision (or commissioner ruling) and will be appended above with a changelog entry once resolved.
- 9.1 — Injury after keeper lock: declarations are final — but is there an exception if a declared keeper suffers a season-ending injury between lock (Aug 31) and the draft (Sep 7)?
- 9.2 — Lottery mechanics: how do “the consolation round counts toward draft order” (§7.2) and a lottery for picks 1–4 (§7.3) fit together? Are lottery odds equal or weighted? The draw method should be published before the reveal.
- 9.3 — Trade veto: Sleeper is configured with a 2-day review and 5 votes to veto — never written into the rulebook. Should teams party to the trade be allowed to vote on its veto?
- 9.4 — When does trading reopen after the Week 10 halt? And are picks for the season after next tradeable during the pre-draft window?
- 9.5 — Trading a declared keeper away: the declaration moves with him — does the sender get a declaration slot back?
- 9.6 — Contract expiry: after Year 3 the player presumably re-enters the draft pool and anyone (including his old owner) who drafts him starts a new Year 0. Assumed, never written.
- 9.7 — Late dues: dues are due before keeper lock (§1.2) — but there is no stated consequence for not paying.
- 9.8 — Manager replacement: if a manager leaves, does the replacement inherit the roster’s contracts and declarations? (Presumably yes — contracts belong to the franchise — but unwritten.)
- 9.9 — Tiebreakers: playoff seeding and the 6th/7th cutoff (which also decides who enters the lottery) follow Sleeper’s default — record, then points-for. Never documented.
- 9.10 — Pick-count wording (§6.3): read literally, “same number of picks on each side” bars pick-for-player trades (1 pick vs 0). Almost certainly not intended — needs one clarifying sentence.
- 9.11 — Drop-and-re-claim of undeclared players (§5.7): should re-claiming your own dropped player resume his existing contract instead of resetting to R16, with the fresh R16 contract only for a different team?
📝 Rulebook Changelog (tap to expand)
Every change to the rules is logged here. If something looks different from what you remember, this is why.
- Aug 2024 — founding rules (published to the league sheet): keep up to 3 (optional), 3-year contract regardless of owner, cost = draft position → DP+1 → DP+2, pick trading with stipulations (no R1–R3 picks, next season only, equal counts, Week 10 halt), playoffs Week 15, 6 teams, draft lottery for the bottom 4.
- Aug 2025: bench 10 → 6, added 2 IR slots, divisions removed. First keeper season — 24 players kept, all at Year-1 cost (their draft round).
- Aug 10, 2026: league polls resolved — FAAB rejected 5–3 (waivers stay rolling priority), keepers stay at 3 (8–0), buy-in stays $250 (5–3), large-yardage bonuses kept (7–1). Rules moved off the Google Sheet — this page is now the official rulebook. Wording clarified with Year 0 (draft year) numbering and a worked example. Bench/IR listing corrected to 6 BN + 2 IR (the sheet had said 10/none since 2024). Keeper-cost direction in Years 2–3 put to a league vote.
- Aug 11, 2026: published the complete scoring table to the rulebook (previously only summarized as “PPR with big-play bonuses”).
- Aug 11, 2026: added edge-case rules: same-round collisions resolve to the next earlier open round; unowned-round costs move to your next earlier owned round; collision bumps are one-year only; the Round 1 wall; multiple same-round picks. Closed two loopholes: dropping a declared keeper now forfeits the slot and bars re-declaring him (kills the drop-and-reclaim discount), and trades cannot push a team over 3 declarations. Clarified the pick-trade limit as 2 picks traded away per season.
- Aug 12, 2026: added a League Dues section (What We Play For tab) with Zelle/Venmo/PayPal QR codes. Dues deadline set: due before keepers lock (Mon Aug 31, 5:00 PM CT). No penalty for late payment defined yet — open item.
- Aug 12, 2026 (evening): rulebook restructured for readability — numbered sections (§1–§9), table of contents, live search, and collapsible sections. No rule meanings changed. Wording fixes only: declarations happen in the offseason (old text said “in season”); the drop-and-re-claim R16 reset is now explicitly limited to players who were never declared (the declared-keeper forfeit rule is unchanged); the Stakes payment instructions now point to the Dues section. A red-team review added §9 Open Questions — ambiguities awaiting league decisions, including a newly caught one: the “equal pick counts” wording technically bars pick-for-player trades.
- Aug 13, 2026: the Keeper Board now applies §5.1/§5.2 cost adjustments automatically. Bumped costs display with a marker (e.g. R1*) instead of the raw contract round. Live case: Brock, Flag and Eagle’s two R2 keepers (St. Brown + Jeanty) now show R2 and R1*. Pick ownership from Sleeper trades is factored in (§5.2). No rule changed — the display now matches the rules.
- Sep 7, 2026: keeper-cost direction recorded as settled — +1 per keeper year (draft round, then +1, then +2; cap R16), §4.3. It was decided by league vote on Aug 11, 2026: 6–3 for the written rule (Sleeper poll “Keeper cost in Years 2 and 3”), a §8.1 majority; the “under league vote” flag should have come down then. The site’s chat archive had dropped poll results, so the vote went unrecorded here until now — that capture bug is fixed. Every team declared, costed and drafted 2026 keepers under this rule. Open next: §9.6, what happens after Year 3 — 14 players reach it in 2028.
